DONATION GUIDELINES
Please make note of our policy regarding donations. We appreciate your understanding as we improve our policies and procedures to allow us to best serve our guests.
Items we can accept
- Current Immediate Needs List CLICK HERE

- Ongoing Needs
- Liquid Laundry Detergent
- Bleach
- Floor cleaner, such as Fabuloso or PineSol
- Paper Towels
- Nitrile Gloves for cleaning
- Paper Plates and Bowls
- Plastic Cutlery
Items we CANNOT accept
- Used clothing, bedding, or linens
- New or Used furniture, housewares, appliances, or similar items
- Used car seats, baby items, toys, or books
- Bikes, large motorized toys for children
- Food that is expired, not sealed or packaged
The shelter works closely with Mission Arlington to provide our guests with items they need during their time at and upon exiting the shelter. These used items may be taken to Mission Arlington. Please contact them directly.
Donation Drives
If you are interested in hosting a drive for specific items, we ask that you contact the shelter directly to find out what items are needed most and schedule a time for delivery. If you are creating marketing material for a donation drive, all collateral must be approved by Arlington Life Shelter prior to distribution. Marketing materials can be sent directly to marketing@arlingtonlifeshelter.org
Donation Dropoff
Only items listed above or from our Immediate Needs List will be accepted during normal shelter hours; Monday- Friday 8am to 7pm. Donations will also be accepted Saturday and Sunday between 10 am to 5 pm. Please bring all donations to the main entrance on the east side of the building. Ring the buzzer so someone can assist you.
