When you drive down Division Street, you can see that Arlington Life Shelter is under construction on its new building and remodel of the existing shelter. The facility will provide an additional 12,000 nights of care for families and children experiencing homelessness each year. Project completion is expected in the spring of 2020.
While we have our contractors onsite, a Partner Pavilion will be added in the current administrative office area to provide office and meeting space for partner agencies to serve both current and former residents. Further expanding the facility at this time will be less costly for the agency in the long-run.
Funds raised through Campaign Encore will provide for additional construction costs, furnishings and operating expenses once the new facility is in operation.
The generosity and support that continues to be shown by individuals, such as you, and the community of Arlington is why we feel confident in our efforts to fill these needs.

Now more than ever we need your help to continue to fulfill our responsibilities to the men, women and children we serve. We provide keys to success such as food, shelter, health and social services, etc.
To volunteer when the residents are present, volunteers MUST be age 18 or older. This includes food teams serving breakfast or dinner. This is to protect the privacy, safety, and dignity of our youngest residents.
