Holidays Services

Project Santa copy

The holidays are a difficult time for the children, youth, and families served by Arlington Life Shelter.  Most of the families we serve through our programs are struggling to meet basic needs, not to mention holiday wishes.  Our staff and volunteers work hard to make this a warm and memorable time for them, and we do this with the generous support of individuals and companies that assist with donations.

If you would like to help provide gifts or other needed items, here are some suggested items and drives.  Scroll down for printable lists, contact information, and drop off information.

Gift cards are a wonderful way to give to the children, youth, and families served by ALS. Shopping for their own clothing boosts self esteem while gift cards for activities such as movies, bowling, and food outings help them build positive memories and familial bonds.  Gift cards for facilities needs greatly help to off-set the cost of expensive items.

Need help figuring out what to purchase?  We have created a handy document that lists the most needed or wanted items by Program.

Now more than ever we need your help to continue to fulfill our responsibilities to the men, women and children we serve. We provide keys to success such as food, shelter, health and social services, etc.

To volunteer when the residents are present, volunteers MUST be age 18 or older. This includes food teams serving breakfast or dinner. This is to protect the privacy, safety, and dignity of our youngest residents.
